I would suggest counseling. I grew up in a family that moved alot with the military and hated it, having to change schools, just about the time I started to feel comfortable and make good friends. Now in adulthood I've found it was a blessing in disguise. I have traveled through Europe, Mexico and alot of the US and have had experiences and seen things that are awesome! My bf and I enjoy looking at the map and dreaming where we are going to move to next. Life is an adventure! Live it to the fullest, you will not regret it.

Okay, you're a college freshman, that makes you what? 18?

The law says you're an adult but if you don't feel you're ready to move away from your family THEN DON'T. You will be completely miserable if you go with your boyfriend into a completely alien territory.

Something else to consider: who's to say he'll be your boyfriend in a year?

I think that maybe you should follow your heart and do what makes you happy. Try talking to someone close to help you find your way through your feelings. So that you can make the best decision for you
