He is very protective of my and as gotten into fights with my other guy friend when he was shooting rubber bands at me. I am in this school play thing where we have to write our own skit and he told my to be his wife for the skit. When my other friends joke about us going out he doesn't resopnd or say gross like he does with my other friends. Last year he liked my friend but he said he doesn't like her anymore and he likes somebody else. We were at an assembly so he wouldn't tell me who. I've gone rollerblading and played b-ball with him before. We're in 8th grade. Does he like me or not and if so what should I do?

it totally sounds like he likes you but is afraid to say so in case you don't like him. then he'd lose you as a friend to and be totally embarassed. if you don't like him t hat way, just keep it the way it is. if you do like him like that, think of something you want to do with him and drop it into casual conversation: "I really want to see (whichever) movie..don't you? we should go this weekend" and before you know it, you'll be on a date! good luck!

i pretty sure he does.. that is the same way my best guy friend was to me last year when he liked me!
we tried dating a couple times but it didn't work out so well
just make sure that if u go with him that you both solumly swear that no matter what you will AlWAYS be best friends!

Kid, Spend more time with what ever you learnning at school, chatting about these things really is wasting your life. Your will have tons of other boyfriends before you decide which one is for real for you.

He likes you but is too immature to tell you. I would take him aside and ask him if he likes you. If he says no, don't be hurt. He just can't handle being honest.
