Well if you wre both happy together before he went to jail, why would you be worried that you wont be happy when he gets out?
I sugguest you go visit himin jail and talk to him, if he calls it quits then just accept it and move on, dont sit and wait for him, if he says he loves you then wait...

He should be worried about if you want to be with him or not. I would say continue talking to him and keeping the relationship going at the level it was before he left. If you were dating other people, continue to do so. If you were exclusive, try and wait it out, but just know that this jail think isn't a good sign, and if you meet someone better, honey, go for the new one. Keep in mind that your bf is going to feel very lonely and want as much attention and support from you as possible. This is because he won't be getting any attention for a whole month and you may be his only contact. Don't think that this new found 'love' or 'extra respect for you' or him all of a sudden 'needing you' more is something that will continue after he gets out of prison, be aware it is just a phase he will be going through. It's only a month, so this is probably not a big deal and shouldn't affect anything too much, depends on how long you have been together and how long term you see this being. good luck.

Hi,
I can't tell you what to do in a situation like this since this is a decision that only you can make for yourself.
In my own personal opinion though, I think that you should wait for him and see what happens when he gets out of jail.
I think that if he really loves you now...he will love you even more later because of the fact that you cared about him and loved him enough to wait for him.
If you by chance decide not to wait for him...you may always wonder later about "what could have been"
Anyway, good luck to you and no matter what you decide to do...I wish you the best!!

YOu need to do a reality check. SOmetimes its hard to let go of the person you love. Everyone has been thru that. You have to ask yourself first what did he go to jail for? What he did was it right or wrong and will you stand by him thru thick and thin? You can still be there for him as a friend and a good friend will always speak the truth

It's better to loose a lover than love a looser! There are a million other dudes out there. I say got get someone that won't got to jail and one that you don't have to worry about them not liking you after a month apart. IMO it's better be with someone who knows how awesome you are than someone you have to convince you're awesome...make sense???

Good Luck!

I am in the sam place as you right now, you should ask but if he gets too emotional and loving not like usual its just jail talk but the only true way to know if hes for real is to make him cry when the tears come then its for real, a lot of them just talk their jail talk sometime beacuse their horny bastards.

umm its only a month.
were you guys close before he went to jail?
were you guys pretty serious about each other?
does he love you?

if you answered yes, then wait.
if you want a better boyfriend than a one that ends up in jail for who knows why, then don't! hah.

A month could be a long one just waiting around for him when he gets back. it can be a short month if you find someone new.

Depends on why he went to jail. For some of his homies or for another female? How long will he be locked down? Need more specifics.
