It will probably depend on the size of the restaurant, or if it's a bar, the volume of alcohol sales expected, what class of license you want, etc...

A class C liquor license in Iowa for a small restaurant with seating for 60, was $800 a year and non-transferable. In California you can actually SELL your liquor license and transfer it. All states are different.

Try calling up you Alcoholic Beverages Division. Or see if you can interview a restaurant owner. The owner would be more helpful than the ABD.

its alot, i used to work for a bar, not sure about the amount, but it is a whole heck of alot to get a liquor license, and there are a million rules and such to getting one.

Call the GA dept. of Revenue at 404.417.4490. They answer the phone in person and are quite friendly/helpful.

depends on what kind. for store or restaurant the county sets the price usually its anywhere from 500 to 2500. individual, depends on county 25 to 50
