It takes away from the legs and your not as mean as you would be the only reason I know this to be A FACT IS i BOXED A LONG TIME AND I tried it both ways and there is a big differance

releasing testosterone causes u to relax, and build up of it gets u tense and more aggressive. don't think having sex on day of fight is good thing cos of the actual "effort" involved! day before is ok. One story springs to mind of UK boxer Randolph "Randy" Turpin in his 54 day rematch with Sugar Ray Robinson and they set him up with prostitute when he stepped off the plane. SR done him in the 12th, but he did last that long! He was supposed to have been banging her non-stop!

Its supposed to be bad for their legs and a woman is a distraction. Takes the focus and concentration the fighter has off the fight.

It's an old boxing tradition to abstain leading up to a fight because they think it weakens the legs.....I don't know if there is anything to support that lol
