Good ONE...

I am not religious anymore...I have been a Catholic but now I am awake and will not be taken in by religion anymore..

I, as a spirit, using mind and energy, matter to create a body, am now in contact with the ONE (spirit), what some call God, directly and I do not need a proxy, a go-between or a preacher to speak for either me or the ONE (spirit).

As Paul ( I hate to quote a murderer, but...it's a loose quote..lol) would say...When I was a child, I spoke like a child and played the games of children. Now that I am an adult, I play with who I want to!!! No one is going to preach to me again about what God or what I call the ONE, said. IT, being a spirit so having no body, does not speak with words but I hear it in IT's Creation. IT, being a number, a principle, a law, is not a person, is neutral, and is not 'gender-based" (usually male, in most religions).

I like the wise saying of all "humans" and more, be they male, female, white, black, red, yellow, brown or adherents to any and all religions.

I consider what I am could be called "spirituality" but the Gurus that demand "obedience" and adherence to their "megalomania" are calling what they sell "spirituality" so I am not that also...

I am not an atheist, nor an "agnostic" because I "believe" and have faith, but not in people, religions and institutions and certainly not in a "GOD" as a person.

I am not a misfit and have fit in with any and all groups when I needed to but I am not a "believer in any religion, philosophy, or "ism"

I guess I am a RELIGION OF ONE!!! or a UNIVERSALIST!!!

I believe in "something" because I am "hard-wired" for the "mystical" experience and I want to "enjoy, appreciate, be grateful for" IT....If I believed in ZERO or NIHIL, I could be a Buddhist, but I believe in SOMETHING, or ONE, so I am a THEIST but not in the conventional understanding of the word.

Free cookies and juice after the service?

Just kidding, I'm not religious at all, although I do occasionally pray at shinto shrines. The Japanese believe that almost everything is occupied by a...diety, for lack of better word. When I pray at the shrines, I usually don't know which "god" I'm praying to, so I use the time to think about what I'm doing in my life, and try to refocus my thoughts and energy to something positive.

I am not religionists
I am spiritual
I enjoy bits and pieces of all religions
However I take all my faith in my own knowing
I think we are all here on a Journey through life to have experiences that we planned not understand how bad things can get, reaching deep to find our own inner strength.
To become wiser and to understand of Man himself.
Finding the meaning of Unconditional Love : )

Religion is a set of beliefs. All of us have them. I follow mine, a positive combination of most all religions I have been told, called Forgive Affirmed Spirit because I believe it has the best chance of human survival and healing. See my profile for some elaboration and see my question and answers.

christian.
My parents make me go to church and confirmation. I finish my confirmation in a few months.

That's why I'm religious. =/

I told my parents I'm not sure if I believe and they were surpised and upset and said "Why wouldn't you believe we brought you up to believe."
Which pissed me off.

I am not sure whether I belive or not(I'm one of those 'once i see it I'll believe it' kind of people).
I have yet to truly 'Find' God.

I suppose if I was born into another religion I would most likely believe in that one.

There is no proof of a God, I can only believe and hope I was right. =P
I have some chance of being saved from damnation, ne?

I am not religious. I don't follow a religion. I believe in God and that all souls will eventually reach heaven through the universal law of karma and reincarnation.

Well I'm a non-denominational Christian, and I'm not what you would call 'religious.' I don't call it a religion, because I don't do it like a ritual or practice. It's so I can enjoy Christ!
