If a guy who's average to below average looking asks someone about a girl. Tells them he thinks their cute just by seeing them around. First asks if they're married or if they're attached. Does this mean the girl they like is just an average looking person? Because why would someone average to below go after someone they thought was pretty even though they told the person that they asked about the girl that they think she's really cute? Guys if you answer, would you approach a girl if she was really pretty if you were just average. If you thought she seemed friendly?

I guess what I'm saying is it a compliment no matter who likes you. Because a friend of mine said she wouldn't be flattered if someone unattractive liked her.

I'm a guy and we have no sense of how attractive we are relative to hot or pretty girls. Even when a really ugly guy sees a really hot girl, he is convinced he has a shot (if he has the guts to talk to her). It must be something in our DNA that we just don't know when a girl is out of our league 99% of the time.

beauty is in the eye of the beholder ear. Maybe YOU think the guy is average to below average looking (shallow people usually think EVERYONE is average to below average), but that doesn't mean EVERYONE is that shallow. He asks if she is married or attached because he is interested in her. If a really "pretty" girl is shallow then she isn't as "pretty" as she thinks she is...in fact she's downright UGLY.
