As long as your not drunk while driving no i don't think so because you can't reach it while inside the vehicle. but i would check with the law. don't take my word for it.

If you get pulled over for something like speeding and didn't have a drop and you're not doing anything suspicious, there's no reason for the cop to search your trunk.

I know there are open container laws, but if it's in the trunk it's not within REACH of you while driving. I mean, what if you were going to a family dinner and your sister called at the last minute and asked if you had any vodka, they're running out? I'd wrap it up like a gift and put it in the trunk.

Whether it's legal or not, I can't say for sure, but I know it's done.

I think you're OK, as long as you haven,t been drinking, cause anyone can pull over open the trunk, and take a couple of nips. If even though if you do drink and drive and you have an open bottle in the trunk you would have 2 charges, driving under the influence, and open container. so don't drink and drive and you should be safe

I hope that you don't mean a bottle with the lid off because that would be a mess by the time you get there. If you're over 21 and you have a bottle of vodka in the trunk of your car, there's no problem.

You will be fine if its in the trunk. If you do get pulled over, and you tell them its there, and you aren't drunk, you'll be fine. But if they ask if there is something in the car they need to know about, tell them, don't hide it. Once they see its open, they may ask you some questions to make sure you aren't underage or drinking while driving.

Probably depends on your state laws. I know in MA you can't have anything open anywhere in the car, but in the trunk I think it's fine. . . . But I could be wrong, and it might not be worth the risk really. . . .Again, check local laws before doing anything.

lol let me tell you if ur 21 or older u can unless somes in you, but like alot of people who ask questions on this are underage which im guessing u r(i dont rly care) yea its illegal especially if its open if a cop finds it but if its closed you may be able to get off by saying its your parents but its a 50-50 shot because they just might call ur parents heh

It does depend on state laws, but most states with open container laws only prohibit the open container in the passenger compartment.

Neh probably not, unless the cop really has a hard-on for you...Then they might try and get you on a technicality, but it wont stick in court.
