I know there's a ghost in my house. But what is my dog trying to tell me?

I know there is a ghost in my house, the previous owner's wife died in one of the rooms. Sometimes we hear things but we haven't been harmed or anything. The Orbs often appear in our pictures.

The thing is, lately, my dog has been staring at the corner of our livingroom. The corner has a collage of pictures on the wall, mostly of animals we used to own and that have passed on.

Also, it was either the bedroom, or THIS room that the owner's wife died in.


I tried taking pictures of the corners of the room but found no odd orbs or anything. My dog just gets up on the chair and stairs at the ceiling. Doesn't bark, just stares. It's starting to creep me out.

Is my dog seeing animals from the pictures, or the owner's wife?

Don't give me bullcrap answers like 'there is no ghost. Your dog was staring at a bug or sunbeam.' First off, a sunbeam? ..What the hell? Second, you can't prove there are no ghosts in my house. Quiet.

I know the spirit isn't negative, my parents have lived in this house for over 30 years... My dog just keeps staring oddly at that one spot..sometimes she growls for no apparent reason..but i don't think it's a ghost. But the owner had a wife and like seven kids, I know the wife died in the house, so I'm not sure what to say.
I know there is something.

The spirit hasn't harmed me, I don't mind its prescence but I question it.
And I'm not getting rid of my pictures of my pets, they are memories.

I believe that once you get a certain mentality about something, that's all you can think in terms of. Dogs stare and bark at weird things all the time. Last year, my 14 year old cousin died in a car accident. Right after it happened, my dog would stare at a picture of her we have in our living room and growl. It freaked me out, but only because I was in kind of a weird state of mind at the time. I don't think your house is haunted, I think you just think about the woman who died there and it creeps you out a bit.

Firstly dont worry about it, especially do NOT try to get priests to move them on as this could potentially upset the spirit if they are not of the same faith as the priest or yourself. Also its worth remembering that they were there before you! If they have a love for the place, then its best to leave them be. You might try politely asking them to be less obvious to your pets, if they dont mind doing that!

Your dog could be doing any of a few things here.
1) It is being silly and staring at nothing in particular.
2) It can hear noises that have a natural explanation but are above or below the human range of hearing.
3) It could be sensing the residual energy (ask about the stone tape theory) of the past and its occupants.
4) It could be sensing a spirit (doesnt have to be one of the animals or the wife!)

One experiment you could try is acknowledging to a possible spirit that you know they are there. Daft as it sounds, just talk out loud. Ask them if they could move to another part of the room or house. If nothing happens just say you would like to tease the dog! Persist with it for about half hour or so, and if nothing happens, try several times over the course of a few days.

there is a few things it could be. you could have either a residual haunting ( basically like a memory the earth has that keeps playing over and over), or an intelligent haunting where the spirit knows what they are doing.

in either case, take a voice recorder and try to talk to her and ask her questions to see if you can get any EVP (electronice voice phenomenon)

you may also need to tell her she is dead, tell her to go to the light.

it is cruel to let her keep wandering the earth, her spirit is basically damned to stay here if no one does something.

If this is a serious question, I think that your dog can see the spirit. But since the ghost hasn't tried to harm you or anything, I think you're ok. I think the reason that your dog doesn't bark is because he can sense that the spirit isn't a negative one. But of course I could be wrong. If it gets too intense, depending where you live, their is this organization called TAPS that can help you out. I believe they have a website online.

If you have a spirit in you house and it is causing no harm it may just be earth bound she just does not relies she has died
Just tell her she has die and to go to the light.
Ask around and find out her name and just call her you do not have to be able to see her and just tell her she is dead and it is time to go to the light.
Yes you dog can see her animals can see spirits.
A lot of spirits a caught in the between just because they just don't know they have died.
Have you seen sixth sense ? or Others ?
You may even feel her presence if you get a chill up you left hand side and your hairs stand up on your arm left is female energy and right is male energy.

Have u considering claiming the blood of Jesus over that household (not an exorcists) or getting rid of the pictures your dog is staring at?...so spirits wont freely enter when they please?...
Ur Dog is telling you that there is something there like an orb/ spirit defiantly.
