Im not racist but i guess i am a little jealous. my last boyfreind cheated on me with two different black girls then he broke up with me and told me he wasnt attracted to white girls anymore. this shocked me and made me feel unattractive. there are many black girls around where i live and i notice that they have very shapely bodies. I wonder if more and mpre white guys are starting to prefer black girls

I'm not totally sure if that's the case, but on some level I think it's become more acceptable to be open with that, which is odd because the opposite of that you've seen since the beginning of time, regardless of what anyone thought about it. It doesn't make you racist, quite honestly, I'm glad to see it more so these days; some still have issues with it, but everyone needs someone, and I think you should take advantage of whatever opportunities that are out there because you don't know what you're missing out on if you don't. Now that, finally, a lot of the obstacles that were out there, ignorance, preconceptions and prejudices, whatever, that kept a lot of people from publicly showing that their in that type of situation seem to be behind us I think you'll see more and more of it.
Maybe you should try it yourself, you know like black guys or whatever, you never know. If anything it'll make you think twice about it perhaps when you hadn't before; sorry that happened to you though ...

Well what your boyfriend is telling you is that he has found a new preference in the type of women that he prefers to date. There is something about dating black women (according to your ex, that he really likes) But honestly it is not about the color and this is something that even he is blinded to.
Try this: Everyone is not attracted to the same physical appearance as you are. There are some features that are more of a turn on for you in a guy, than there would be for another female who is looking at the same guy.
Different strokes for different folks, and your ex has found a new flavor that is more appealing to him. But I remind you again, it is not about your race, it is about the experince he has encountered by being with someone of a different race and now he is so dumbfouned and think that he can only experience this new thing in females with black girls only.
So, ask him, what is it about the black girls that turns him on. Or what is it that he like and wasn't able to get from you. Color is only skin deep. But a booty is a booty no matter what the race is.
Answer this: Do you only find handsome guys in just one race? Of course not, and neither can your ex find this new flavor in black girls only.
So please do not beat yourself up over this one. He left you for a different reason other than you being a white chick!

White women are attractive too. Your boyfriend can only voice his opinion. Guys who dislike their own for petty reasons like that aren't worth anyone's time. They are being superficial and arrogant. Race should the be the least important thing about a person. I certainly don't go out looking for a specific race to date. There are mutiple personalities in all races, so therefore it is wrong to pick someone based on their skin color.

i just think it's a matter of personal preference...it has nothing to do with u and what u may or may not have. there's no need to be jealous of anything or anyone...just think about all ur gud qualities...he sounds like a jerk and probably doesn't deserve u anyway.

Like white boys from the suburbs getting into rap and hip hop.
That ALWAYS makes me laugh.
As for dating wise... Hmmmm... Well, I usually only go for Asians and Latinas, so I can't really comment on that.

what dr. steve said is true. however genetics have more to do with that then anything else.
i dont think that white guys are beginning to prefer black girls more, i think that since white girls are dating (more and more) outside of their race, white guys are beginning to do it too. its a natural occurrence and can easily be confused with this.

i dont care what race the lady is --- its her personality that will keep me attracted --- i have not had the opportunity to date ladies of other races -- nor will i ever -- i have found my lady --- but would not have based attraction on their skin colour --- their minds excite me more
