Explain to her that if she starves it off she is more likely to gain the weight back plus some...and it is also unhealthy go without food for that long. Even people like on the show "the biggest loser" who are trying to help really obese people lose weight...they tell them they have to have nurishment and a balanced diet plus exersize...I would research the internet...go to like webmd or prevention.com and see if you can find any info on damages that it can cause...or search eating disorder sites..people who do with food and show it to her maybe she will change her mind and decide to just do a healthy diet instead...Tell here you will start an exersize program with her or a "healthy diet" plan..to motivate her instead of not eating....

tell her that you won't let her do that, besides, by starving herself she will only want to eat more later, so the point of the whole thing will go down the drain with the added physical effects that one gets from not eating. Maybe she could try a good diet if she is that worried, but not any of the fad ones.

My dad did that one time ate nothing and only drank Tea and water... and lost 20 pounds...its good to clean out your system, shes gonna **** out some crap she ate a long time ago..
