face it people, bush f$#ked up, and the choices are leaving US troops there to get picked off everyday or bring them home and protecting our nation, and let the iraqis fight for their own freedom.

i doubt they will, but it's their choice, and our staying there won't change any of that

I agree with Richard W. In answer to your questions.... You make a "war" (It's certainly NOT civil) worse by abandoning those innocent people you are there trying to help and protect.

You need to do some reading...... like "An American Soldier" by Tommy Franks or try some of Vince Flynn's books. They will open your narrow eyes!!

the real question is: why are we in there? could it be oil...maybe spreading democracy throughout (lol, a fairytale excuse), maybe WMDs, but that was found out to be untrue, saddam's out of power and now it's time to make peace talks and get our men and women of the armed forces OUT.
True, it could very definitively make the situation worse, but the reality is, yes, they do need to be brought home a.s.a.p. and i'm a little nervous because i don't see that happening anytime soon...i think their excuse is that they're waiting for the right time to pull out (sorta like vietnam when we left, though we had no reason to fight that war either).
I hope that when the troops come home the reaction is not negative towards them, but rather the administration that put them in harm's way in the first place.
Things need to change. and fast....

Our troops will not be pulled out of Iraq any time soon. The U.S. has to "save face" and will wait until the time is right to withdraw with "honor". Problem is: the Shite's won't let it happen. They want to rub our noses in it and "humble" us. The only possible way we can get out is to say: "We made a mistake and we are sorry for it". Of course we all know that won't happen.

How do you know there is a Civil War in Iraq? Michael Moore? The same michael moore who said haliburton is evil, yet owns stock in that company?

So you are in favor of turning the country over to the Extremists who have vowed to destroy America?
How long do you think it would be before they followed us home?
And you thought 9-11 was bad. You'd be in for a big surprise.
