Biblically, where is this supported in the Bible.

I will answer my own question in a day. I am curious to see what the belief is among people.

Okay .. its been 30 minutes, lets face it, all who are going to answer, for the most part, have done so. My thoughts ... twice in Romans 11 Paul says that Israel has not fallen and is still the apple of God's eye (Rom 11:11). Also, Matthew 25:31-46 tells us that the judgement will be passed on how the nations of the world have treated the Jewish people and the nation of Israel. It is true that the Gentiles have been grafted in and can receive salvation through Jesus, but Israel and the Jewish people are still the Chosen ones. Contrary to what one person said, Jesus fulfilled OT law and prophecy, in NT Jesus clearly states that he did not come to abolish the OT law in Matthew 5
17"Do not think that I have come to abolish the Law or the Prophets; I have not come to abolish them but to fulfill them. 18I tell you the truth, until heaven and earth disappear, not the smallest letter, not the least stroke of a pen, will by any means disappear from the Law until everything is accomplishe

Also .. the question was who are the chosen people, not who is saved.

The original promise to Abraham was that through the seed of Isaac all the nations of the earth would be blessed. True to the prophecy, the relationship God had with ancient Israel produced the messiah, and the royal heir to the throne of the Kingdom of God. Every one now benefits, (if they just take the opportunity).

The opportunity for a special relationship with God is now open to anyone who wants to exercise faith in the ransomer Jesus Christ.

After WWII and the Nazi persecution of the Jews, the UN and the world leaders set up a secular nation of Israel. This is not the "Kingdom" of Israel and has nothing to do with any Bible restoration prophecy. People today think it is according to prophecy, but they are seriously mistaken. Any restoration prophecies that really pertain to literal Israel were fulfilled long ago when they were released from Babylonian captivity. Any newer prophecies are fulfilled in a new Israel which is not the literal nation of Israel, but rather a spiritual nation of people made up of every nation and tongue today. Their Jerusalem is a heavenly one. Their capital city is a heavenly government ruled by the resurrected Christ Jesus.

Jesus Christ, near the end of his lfe, stood on the hill overlooking Jerusalem and the temple....looked down at it and condemned their relationship with God.

The Almighty Yahweh Elohim made a promise to Abraham, to Isaac and to Jacob (Israel) that they their dessandants are his people and will always be His people. However, many of the Patriarchs dessendants did not follow or obey His commandments or did not adhere to the covenant between Yahweh and Israel (Judah) that's why when the Messiah Yahshua came, a new covenant was established. This time, the Gentiles were given the right to become His people also by accepting the Messiah Yahshua as their savior, that He died for their sins, His blood would wash their sins and to follow the original covenant (agreement) following or obeying the commandments which the Hebrews (not all of them) failed to follow. In short, even if you are not a Jew physically, but you are a Jew spiritually, you are a Jew, and therefore you are one of the people of Yahweh. Thus fulfilled the promise of Yahweh to Abraham that He will be the father of many nations. Genesis 17:4.

Good Answer David T. That is just the overall summary of it. We all have access to God through the Lord Jesus Christ. Yes it is very true the Nation of Israel through the seed of Abraham where God's first chosen people. However most of them rejected Christ. But I love the way Paul writes it in Galatians 3:28.
There is neither Jew (circumcision) or Greek (heathen), there is neither bond nor free, there is neither male nor female for you are ALL one in Christ Jesus. Read the whole chapter if you wish it really explains it in depth. May the Word of God be our final authority. Listen to a Bold Based Ministry in the New York Tristate area or Listen online. Well I can't give you a Biblical reason because I haven't read the Bible in full. But my thoughts as a Catholic person just studying scripture (Still in the Pentateuch aka Septuagint for you Greek junkies) I feel EVERYONE is a person of God. No matter what religion. I do not see it as the smaller branches of Christianity do. That it is just Christians or whomever. I feel everyone is. I am not sure why but it's a feeling of pure neighborly embrace. No I will not hug you in public but the heart of it is to be truly benevolent to all. I am very abstract and a real contextualist towards what is "written" in the Bible. And yes the people in the Old Testament were lunatics are most times.

I consider you! i might want to of written that, myself, is how a lot. decrease back in lately, there change into fantasy and common sense, both were given equivalent credibility. God is the author, we are co-creators, we delivered ourselves to the expertise of day, adversarial to large odds. Evolution does no longer address the inspiration of issues, in straight forward words how issues developed, it really is about time we all started evolving back spiritually lol. God, i believe is both latest in each and every thing, which include us, so we would want to look interior of, to discover God, if we do not bypass interior of, we bypass devoid of, yet when I attempt to look interior of, i detect no position the position "I " initiate and "I" end. Be nonetheless, and recognize that i'm God, meditate, and also you'll recognize that the i'm is an same i'm that echoes in all existence at the same time as they're the i'm...we stay and bypass interior of His being...many imagine of God as something outdoors of ourselves, yet that is all One, less than the phantasm of maya. i imagine evolution is smart, and there is an unlimited style of inhabited planets, and the total actual universe lies like a tiny bubble less than the vastness of the religious geographical areas, so God is amazingly busy. yet i do no longer believe guy developed from apes, i believe that guy, in a kind shall we no longer even note of at the moment, change into on earth at the same time as it change into nonetheless molten...and because the earth hardened, the evolving species, some did not evolve quickly sufficient, and retrograded or were frozen in the kind of apes, after all if apes developed into people, why are they nonetheless apes lol once you've an interest in the religious evolution of guy and expertise examine Cosmic memory through Rudolf Steiner. I've always heard that the Jewish were God's chosen people. The Dispensationalist, as well as the Zionist, believes that the nation of Israel after the flesh (I Cor. 10:18) are God's chosen people, the sole inheritors of God's promises, and that to be a part of Israel, one must be of the proper lineage and nationality.

The Bible teaches that God's only 'chosen people' are those who are born again (Rom. 8:11-14). According to Galatians chapter three, "to Abraham and his seed were the promises made. He saith not, And to seeds, as of many; but as of one, And to thy seed, which is Christ." This means that the promises of eternal inheritance or adoption, delivered by Abraham's physical descendants, can only be claimed through Jesus Christ, as Galatians 3:29 concurs.

Take your pick. Either way, I don't believe "chosen" refers to "favorites"!

His chosen are all who are saved and going to be saved. And of course that remnant of Israel that will be saved- The Jews are His chosen people since the beginning- Romans 11- they will be grafted back in- a remnant of Israel will.

John 10:14-16
14"I am the good shepherd; I know my sheep and my sheep know me— 15just as the Father knows me and I know the Father—and I lay down my life for the sheep. 16I have other sheep that are not of this sheep pen. I must bring them also. They too will listen to my voice, and there shall be one flock and one shepherd.

Gentiles have been grafted in- Also see Romans 9
24even us, whom he also called, not only from the Jews but also from the Gentiles? 25As he says in Hosea:
"I will call them 'my people' who are not my people;
and I will call her 'my loved one' who is not my loved one,"[i] 26and,
"It will happen that in the very place where it was said to them,
'You are not my people,'
they will be called 'sons of the living God.' "[j]

-Matthew 11:27
"All things have been committed to me by my Father. No one knows the Son except the Father, and no one knows the Father except the Son and those to whom the Son chooses to reveal him.

-Whom God chooses to reveal.

A LEADER WITH ABSOLUTE TRUTH

AlMighty God Our Lord chooses people from people to utter absolute truth, their identity is their unique knowledge given to them by God Our Lord. They are not taught by the religious institutions but they are teachers who teach truth. They speak of One God to all people disregarding their creed, race, sect or religious norms.

There are many ways to recognize such blessed ones but the most important of all factors which tells us that we reached or approached a true leader or person or his answers, of our questions, is that if he answers according to Gods guidance and Commandments with logic and undeniable factual knowledge and utters truth of its own nature, not heard or read previously by the people; he will be held as a perfect guide blessed to the people by the Lord Our God.

Through his knowledge we can easily seek his link with God and be careful please, if a person is not linked with God he may ruin all our efforts made to please the God Our Lord. Jesus says:
“When one blind man leads another, both fall into a ditch”.

A true leader will always guide us with the blessed knowledge and guidance and will never follow the opinion of people.

MOST LEADERS ARE BLIND

Most of the leaders are blind and cannot guide us to salvation. You can easily recognize these people because they always call persons, demi-gods or false gods such as prophets, idols and other things instead of The AlMighty God Our Lord.

THEY DO NOT ANSWER ALL QUESTIONS

Their falseness is always exposed when they cannot answer proper question about God.

ALL OF US.

Yes, I know that's not in the bible, but I don't care.

If all of Creation is the work of the Divine Source, then the Divine Source made all the varieties of flowers and rocks and trees and bird and ______humans..

If there were only one right way to be human we would all be alike.

The Divine Source doesn't play favorites.

Since the bible was written by men - the prejudices of those men shines through. So I don't think the bible is an accurate statement of "God's" thoughts. IMO - a real God would not discriminate or place conditions on his own creations. Therefore, all would be chosen.
