Actually, I'm here, in large part, to try to explain why it is that humans, for the most part, need BOTH religion and science.

I don't think I'm being very effective, though, as most of my posts of that sort just seem to shut down the "conversation" and I don't get any feedback.

I'm also here to answer questions about religions that I know a bit about, particularly my own.

And once in a while it's to point out the fallacious logic that is used to prove or disprove what cannot be proved or disproved by using the rationalistic measures that work so well in science.

Honestly? The idiotic postings and the entertainmant value of laughing at ridiculous faiths...

I visit other sections, but always come back here.... Go figure. There is more funny stuff here than in the riddles section.

I like seeing people fight. Everyone is so fired up here. I do visit other sections if a question jumps out at me.

Boredom with a desire to bite back at atheist haters.

And as people said above, it can be entertaining to watch people bicker and stuff. Though I do learn some about other people's beliefs.

Because of the following Scriptural command:

"PREACH THE WORD, in season and out...reprove, rebuke, and exhort with all patience and doctrine; for the time will come when they will not endure sound doctrine...but after their own lusts shall they heap to themselves teachers telling them what they WANT to hear...." (2Tim.4:2)
