i read other ppl's blog often and noticed that so many ppl are in love with someone who lives in a different coutry.
like.. an american girl is in love with british guy or chinese girls is in love with australian guy through internet.
what do you think of this type of romance?
do you think it's ridiculous and unrealistic or do you think it's cool?

I am in love with an American man, and i live in Australia. We have been talking for 3 years on line. He made the decision to come over here and we have been married nearly 1 year. The most important thing in on line dating is to be open and honest. People can make it work. But its not an easy thing. Its no different than meeting someone at a party, you start out not knowing anything about each other but you grow and so does your knowledge of each other.
Its becoming more and more popular in society but its important to protect children and know who we are talking to.
Everyone has different opinions, but this is just speaking from experience.

I don't think that true, honest love can happen until both parties meet and find out just what the person behind the monitor is REALLY like. Until they actually do meet and get to know one another's personallity traits, their little quirks and habits it is all basically a fantasy, and you can't base a lifetime commitment on a fantasy.

its not unrealistic --- im in one myself --- Australia and Romania --- and its the fault of the communications available --- we now can contact people all over the world
for me it an accident that allowed me to meet the love of my life
