I have this neighbor who has been a good friend to me this year. He has even given me his cell number and looks at me a lot. I am not sure but I think he likes me. He knows that I am married, shouldn't that make him think otherwise?

No. Guys are fairly thick, and married women represent a bit of a challenge, like forbidden fruit. A wedding ring does not act like kryptonite. It's up to you to be clear that you are absolutely not interested. Unless, of course, you are.

Here's why he thinks you're a catch: because he knows that there won't be an emotional attachment if he starts something with you.
It will be purely sexual and what man doesn't want that. He'll get the woman without the emotions and it'll purely be physical.

I'm a married guy and I think that it's better to cheat with other married people since they have more to lose

He might just want to be your friend and you can't put more into it then there is.......but if there is any question you should let him know that your happly married and all you will be is friends.....his reaction will tell you everything.
