For biting and potty training, first get a bed or pillow or blanket, and put it in a specific place in a room you don't mind the puppy in so the dog will have a safe place to go to when he gets scared or punished. Secondly get a newspaper and roll it up and put some tape on it. Keep it nearby when training the dog. (you might want to have even a second or third for convenience) When the puppy bites exclaim "NO!" loudly in his face and smack the newspaper hard in the palm of your hand so it makes a loud noise in his face. DO NOT hit him with the newspaper or your hand, you can't love him with the same hand you punish him with. Do the same for potty training, usually they begin to learn " NO!" means they did something bad and it can be an everyday used command. The bed is for after you scold him he will have a place to go and hide, don't feel bad after doing it, it is a very useful and effective training tool and you can't let him/her rule over your home and do whatever he/she wants

as far as biting goes, if it's trying to get your attention by biting you, ignore the puppy. when it is finally calm, THEN give it attention. If it is biting when you play, stop playing when the play escalates to biting. Resume play when puppy is no longer trying to bite. The puppy needs to learn that you will not interact with it when it bites you- only when it's being relatively calm.
As far as doing tricks, the puppy must first master "sit", "stay" and "down" commands before learning to do tricks. Just be patient, but consistent. Remember, puppies are like children and don't hold attention long. Make training sessions short, and praise and reward often when puppy does what you ask of it. - Good luck.

For the tricks... repetitiveness.
For the biting, there's a spray that tastes really bad to dogs spray that on the stuff that he's biting. Unless he's biting people, then either hes a little puppy and its a stage, or just tell him no and dont let him bite you.

What my husband had did with our Rottie is he held the lower jaw and pushed down on his tongue. It doesn't hurt the dog they can't close their mouth and they try to pull away hold for about 5 secs. and say NO BITE in a firm voice.
To do tricks use treats and be persistent for example sit
u tell your dog sit and push down on his bum and than give him a treat and also praise your puppy.

Well it really depends on what type of trick you want to teach them. Some good advice on all tricks is to use one word commands and to use its favorite treat when it obeys
