How are you suppost to eat peas?

Do you use a fork, or a spoon, or what?

I always eat my peas with honey,
I've done it all my life
It tastes a little funny
But it keeps them on my knife.

Many many years ago, forks were rather dangerous eating utensils, and knives were used to put food into your mouth.

Since forks aren't dangerous, I use a fork.

I have always used a fork. But, I probably started out with a spoon. Definately not a knife.

I buy snow peas and use a fork. No chance of them falling out of the pod.

use a knife, amaze the whole dinner party with the way you can manover them balanced on your knife to your mouth. When that gets boring you can try flicking them in the air and catching them. Good for any diet too! Yourll just be finishing dinner when everyone sits down for tea. You never know it might be a casserole with some off those chickpeas in, then you really can impress them. Have fun eat well!

According to correct etiquette,you are supposed to squash the peas onto your fork with your fork prongs facing downwards. :-)

Well, I use a spoon to eat my peas. But others may vary. Different people eat different things with different silverware...

I loke to eat them with mashed potatoes, if you have a scoop of potatoes, then stick it on the peas, theres no problem..
But otherwise, i think a spoon would be best..

I guess anyway you want to eat them. My family and everyone else I seen...eat them with a folk. But if you feel better eating them with a spoon then go for it!! Others may follow.
