If you know what state you are going to contact that board of nursing see what they will require of you to be liscensed in that state

You need to contact hospitals in the state where you want to work. Be aware that your RN qualification is NOT transferable; you will have to take a conversion course to teach you American processes, procedures, drug laws etc.

If you can find a hospital to sponsor you (and you probably can, because we have a nationwide shortage of nurses) then they will handle the application process for you.

You are going to have to get in touch with the Board of Nursing Examiners in the state where you want to work.

Contact a hospital they need Rn's and should be able to explain it all
