yes, global warming IS real. all u have to do is just look at temperature record data: the average surface temperature on earth HAS been rising during recent history. the controversy is not over whether it exists; instead, it's about what is causing it. it's also a known fact that carbon dioxide levels have been rising (based on measurements taken over the past 50 years); we just don't know if this increase (and therefore the increase in temperature) is caused by human activity or by natural occurrences.

Some argue that it's real, some argue that it is a part of natural oscillations in temperature on the large scale. One way or another, effects that we see here and now are pretty darn real.

well it depends, personally i believe it is real.
But some people believe it is not and its just the Earth changing likes its does several times before. They believe that Earth changes through out the years and in one way that is true because the planet was different when the dinosaurs walked the Earth...
but i guess its up to what you think is more plausible.
hope that helped you out some

The average temp. is indeed increasing. However, its been proven that the earth goes through periods of warming and cooling, even before humans existed. Humans are making a difference, but not a major one.

yes, since before the ice age, but it goes in cycles. That's why it's going to be 24 degrees F with 8 inches of snow tomorrow!
Guess what...it is going to get warmer next summer!
