has feelings for me? He broke up with me 6 months ago and he just now started flirting with her out of nowhere, what do I do? I really dont know if she flirts back but everytime I see them they are always near each other. He told me that he liked another girl, but why does he flirt with my best friend out of nowhere? Could he be doing this to get a rise out of me? They are friends but nothing more and my best friend has a boyfriend. He tickles her when I am around. They seem quiet when I walk by but when I am around, he flirts with her. What could he be telling me? This just came out of nowhere and my best friend said that she didn't like him because she says that he's not cute. I asked her if she would ever date him, and she said "no." She said that they are only friends. help!!!!!

It sounds like he may like her. Probably he is trying to show you that he has options and that other girls can take an interest in him as you once did. Pride is something people have a hard time letting go of. Indifference on your part could lead him to believe that he can continue to act this way. Mention to him that you'd be really upset if he dated your friend. Also acknowledge to him that he has many options outside your social circle and that you'd feel more comfortable if he looked elsewhere for dates.

I think he wants you back. He is flirting with your friend cause he is jealous of you and her. Just try to flirt with anther guy and see what he does.

you need to stop guessing about what "they" think. you will never get it. I would imagine though that he has moved on and is interested in her. He is hiding it (like your friend) b/c they do care for u but don't want to hurt your feelings. It really shouldn't matter if they end up dating b/c don't u wanna be with someone who really really wants to be with you. don't settle for less.

Tell your friend that you are uncomfortable and ask her if she would please stop hanging out with him. He wouldn't flirt with her if he no longer gets a response from her...your friend should tell him to quit it out of respect for you and your friend's boyfriend.

He is just wanting you to say something. That is all. Go on with life, paying attention to that will cause you to miss out on anyone who is checking you out.

If he cared about you, he'd be flirting with you, not her. He does it to hurt you.

he might be trying to make you jealous. I think whatever it is, your friend is not in on it.
