The best way to find out what you can and can not bring on the aircraft with you is to check with the TSA website http://www.tsa.gov/ they have a complete list of what is allowed on the aircraft, as well as how the items should be packed, ie. 1 qt clear plastic bag.
Have a great trip!

you may take:
clothes
everyday general items that is not liquid -non-explosive-
you may not take:
explosive item
items that is worth a lot of money -need to pay tax-
and you may place the liquid item into a ziplock baggy and it has to be less than 3 oz.
i hope this helped you. have fun travelling!

all liquids or gels must be in a container 3oz or less (even if they're not full, you can't bring anything larger). these containers must fit in 1 ziploc bag (must be a ziploc type bag) that is quart-sized. like the containers, even if it's not full, the bag cannot be larger than quart-sized. It's a little insane.
