Thank you all for your answers. I will let the voters decide which answer is best. Unfortunately there seemed to be a few discrepancies among some of the answers.

1. Sentience begins a few weeks BEFORE birth, but true knowledge of God results from experience and study. Each human is blessed with a god-given conscience which teaches about the Creator.
2. Jehovah's Witnesses are the true religion.
3. Most who follow the biblical Judeo-Christian tradition share this view.

What a great question.
1. Yes! I believe we lived with him, talked, laughed, and loved being with him. I believe we also have a Heavenly Mother, we are literally their offspring - they created our spirits, Christ under the direction of the Father, created our bodies. I believe there was a Grand Council in Heaven, or the premortal existance, that made decisions about our life here, but that we were all involved. I believe we knew eachother, we had friends, we were separated into "family units" at some point I believe. I believe we were taught the gospel and there were spirits who were more valiant in it than others...I also believe Lucifer presented a plan to God about our life here, Jesus also presented a plan. Christ's plan was chosen, Lucifer was rebelious and convinced 1/3 of our spirit brothers and sisters to follow him and all were cast out, then Lucifer became Satan. I believe every person who ever lived or will live on this earth chose to be here, no one was forced.
2. I am a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. (Mormon)
3. I am not sure of others who share the same view, Chrisitians are the only ones I know of that believe in Christ in a similar way we do, as for pre-existance I have no idea.

Interesting question...
1. I think you mean something like incarnation. No, I don't believe we existed before we were formed in our mother's belly. I agree with glen: God knows everything. He knew us and knew our name even before we were formed; God loved everybody even before the world was created! That's what some of the Bible verses given mean. That's what the Bible says.
2. I'm Seventh-day Adventist
3. I'm not sure if I can answer this one. I don't know all religions, but at least I found one: glen (and all of those who answered already and believe we didn't exist before our conception).
God bless everyone!

The bible does not tell us that we existed before our now existed birth. I am a jesus child and did attend church all of my life I did. It have seen sometimes in life tha gives accounts that we have lived before and after a careful study of this I come to the conclusion that we dream future happenings and when it comes to pass then you remember doing the same thing in reality and it was only cause you dreamed them and forgot until it came to pass. The only one that can pass this test if Jesus. Now whether Moses and other schloars and the risen dead at Jesus time I cannot account for. I am sure no other religion and my knowing of many of them can answer this question truthfully.

I believe we are born of our parents, out of sin. I believe the only way to save oneself is recognizing Christ as our Savior, He serves as our direct link to God. I am Christian, this is the belief that I derive from my bible, this is what the Holy Spirit, guides me to believe. Nothing exists without God, He allows us to be. We are given free will and it is our parents initial responsibility to teach us about the Lord. If we choose to fall off the path of righteousness well that is our decision. I also listen to no man made words w/o referencing my bible.

My preacher believes we were "something." yet he's the purely christian I actually have ever met that believes that. He bases it on the Jeremiah passage, that "previously you've been formed contained in the womb I knew you." (Jeremiah a million:5) i believe that we develop right into a residing soul when we are born and God breathes into our nostrils the breath of life. (Genesis 2:7) I attend a church of Christ. wish that helps
