Well it's something that can't be proved either way, no matter what people say NO ONE can prove there is no such thing as life after death, some Christians seem to think they are the only ones, but in truth there is life after death, and it is something we all shall see for ourselves, What it means is that we go on to something much better that this life, sometimes i think that this life is death, with all the bad things people do, and when we leave this life we move on to something better, why do i believe it because i have seen it,

Ecc 12:6 Or ever the silver cord be loosed, or the golden bowl be broken, or the pitcher be broken at the fountain, or the wheel broken at the cistern.
Ecc 12:7 Then shall the dust return to the earth as it was: and the spirit shall return unto God who gave it.

Your spirit returns to God.

Flesh death is a shadow of the second death which is non-existence.

Mat 10:28 And fear not them which kill the body, but are not able to kill the soul: but rather fear him which is able to destroy both soul and body in hell.

You have a spirit body and soul that is alive when the flesh perishes.

1Co 15:44 It is sown a natural body; it is raised a spiritual body. There is a natural body, and there is a spiritual body.

1Co 15:50 Now this I say, brethren, that flesh and blood cannot inherit the kingdom of God; neither doth corruption inherit incorruption.

The Bible actually says that when you die, you die completely. (Ecclesiastes chapter 9 vs 5, 10). The first lie recorded in the Bible has Satan suggesting that we will not die if we disobey God. (Genesis chapter 3) Eve believed Satan and so did many of her offspring. However, it would have been very obvious after a while that disobedience leads to death. While it would have been known that death is a state of non-existence, Satan may have perpetuated his first lie about not dying by saying that the death of people was only in the physical sense. The doctrine of the immortal soul has been around for a few millenia and continuea the lie that we will not die. When we die we cease to exist, in effect becoming completely unconcious of all things.

Iv been told that when you die you go somewhere (forgot the name) to think about the good and bad things you have done in the past life and learn things from it. Then you are reincarnated into someone different to make up for the bad things. Also, the people that are in this life were apparently in the past lives and will be in future lives, so your mom could have been your sister, girlfriend could have been your dad ect.
I dont know whether to believe this or not, but i guess we will all find out sooner or later.

I prefer to live my life while I still can. Yes, I do believe in an afterlife based on personal experiences and evidence; however, just in case these are somehow illusions and my death will be nothing more than a disappearance, I find it makes much more sense to not worry about death. Life is what you make it.

The whole notion of life after death was created so that people wouldn't have to face the inevitable ending of their existence. The idea sound ridiculous. but people want to believe it so much that they find ways to justify it. Stop wasting your time worrying about what will happen when you die and focus on making the most of your life.

It's the ultimate, dodgy reward system.

Live a good life in servitude to the church and you'll get the ultimate reward - the life eternal.

Only after you die, of course.

And it must be true. Let's face it, the church doesn't get many unhappy customers coming back to complain, does it?

Yeah, must be all true!

Our individuality is an illusion, although its a very important one. The universe is one being. When you die it will be the same as plucking a single leaf from a tree. Life will go on.

There is no meaning because there is no life after death since the soul is not immortal.

There is lifer after God brings the dead back to life.
