Here's one reason, my brother works for General Mills, the cereal company, and they will not grow and use any produce in soil that has been contaminated by pesticides, and that is the soil in the entire United States. They grow their produce in other countries, and that has to drive up the cost of their products.

we need soil to grow---whatever we plant..........
clean soil water air...

or we die
