On Christmas Eve we honor the Feast of the 7 Fishes, but to cirvcumvent all the fuss, We make a large Bouilliabase consisting of 7 (Oysters, Mussels, Clams, Lobster, Shrimp, Scallop and Monk fish) and serve will lots of fresh Garlic Cheese toast for sopping up the broth and a Ceasar salad (We cheat - the Anchovy makes 8). Christmas morning is a breakfast of Brandied Egg Nog waffles and Cranberry Sage sausages which we make ourselves (Thanks Kitchenaid! LOL)...Dinner is Roast Goose with Wild Rice and Chestnut stuffing, Roasted Potatoes, Carrots and Brussel Sprouts, with a Red Cabbage, Onion and Apple compote and Plum Pudding with Vanilla Bean sauce.
Thanks goodness for a two cook family...
Happy Holidays!

My family's "traditional" Christmas meal isn't really traditional. We usually make up one big pot each of a really good red beef chili and a white chicken chili, and serve them with pepperoni rolls and a spicy cornbread.

Because my parents are up late the night before i cook them like a mixed grill in the morning bacon, eggs, tomato, mushroom, strak sausages etc... why my 4 younger brothers n sisters open up presents from santa...
then for lunch we have pork and chicken with roast potatoes, caulliflour and cheese sauce, honey carrots, mint peas and beans..
with xmas pudding for dessert.
then for dinner we go to my dads house and we usually just have a bbq with salad and scalloped potatoes and drink at his place.
