He can flirt with whoever he wants, because he's a pig. Its when your friend starts flirting back that you have a problem.
Stop worrying about what he's doing and take up knitting or something. He's got your goat - let it go.

he may be nervous, and not really have anything else to talk about. young men have sex on their minds a lot, not necessarily substance. If you let it bother you it will push you two apart, if you can talk to him about it, that may bring you closer. Depends on how you handle it. I wouldn't necessarily think he's trying to cheat with her on you, but just doesn't really think about much else than flirting with chicks, getting laid, etc...
