I used to be 55kg but I don't know how I'm going to get down to that again. I hate my looks and won't really go out anymore because I don't want anyone seeing me. Screw counseling. I've tried with no success. I'm on antidepressants.....have been for five years. I just can't stop wanting junk food. :(

I have a boyfriend. He loves me for how I am but I'm not happy. I've tried walking.....and doing exercise but I'm so depressed. I need motivation but he won't help me with that. (He is heaps lean but doesn't do exercise much)

If you are not happy with how you look, the only way to feel better is to do something about it. It won't be easy. Junk food has a TON of chemicals in them, which can become addicting, just like a drug. Your body might even might be physically dependent on them. The only way to stop eating that crap is to stop buying it. Don't keep it in your house. Fill your house with healthy alternatives, like fruits, veggies, whole grain snacks. Try eating sugar free, whole grain cerial as a snack. And you have to exercise. Exercise is good for the body and the mind. You will not feel better about yourself until you exercise. You can read all these responses, but until you actually get up and do what you already know you need to do, you wont feel any better. Good luck. Go throw all that junk food in the garbage right now, you can do it!!!!!!!!!!!!

OK so you want some pity - can you walk, can you go out, can you find something interesting to do, can you smile and not take life so darn hard - besides being a little over weight what the heck. I am sure there are people who would love to be your friend. I have a real body problem. My body is very tiny and small, my body is the size of a two year old and I am 17. I must wear diapers and small little clothes. Talk about going out - how would you like this situation. I can really do very little - I can't drive a car, can,t walk by myself, and you think you have problems. Well we can't live in other peoples bodies but remember you have a better body than a lot of us.
Be Happy and smile and I bet that will work. Just stay loose and
don't worry - you must be happy - Now you get out there and go
lady and have fun ! ! ! Remember always there are people worse of than you !

OK- First off, screw what anyone else thinks when they see you!!!!

You shouldnt care about other people seeing you. You cant isolate yourself. Thats the first thing. Second thing, 75 kg isnt so bad. But the junk food is gonna really screw you over. What you need to do is really test your will power.

If you totally stop eating junk food, and I mean totally, like dont permit yourself any junk food. Not even a frensh frie, I mean be really strict. And always eat healthy food, like go to sandwich places and eat healthy, clean food, soon you wont want to go back to junk food, and will feel guilty eating it.

I used to have a similar problem (I d pig out in McD's- McChicken meal, three cheese burgers, and maybe 6 piece chicken nuggets.) Then, I completely quite. I mean, its really hard, and you crave it, but you have to avoid it.

Then after 6months, permit yourself another meal...It ll taste much better than before, and will be special- your first junk food meal in 6 months. and then YOU STOP AGAIN...dont go back to old habits...

And walk more..Walking is a good way of loosing wieght.

ONE MORE THING- YOU ARE NOT UGLY. YOU ARE SEXY. END OF STORY. you need to be confident in yourself. Screw what anyone thinks. Forget the media and those phsyco size zero models. Just live healthy, loose some wieght (not to the point of being under wieght...)

OK so 55 kg is 121 pounds and 75 kg is 165 pounds...I guess that is a big difference in weight like 40 pounds...you're not ugly...you're not really fat until you reach 200, then it gets out of hand. Just try to snack on healthier foods and stay away from junk. Don't buy the junk in the first place, then you won't have any to eat when you're hungry.

I find that exercising actually helps me when im depressed. I refuse to take anti depressents, as they probably lead to more problems such as weight gain and addiction. I joined a gym and listen to music that gets me motivated, it totally tunes me out, and the fact that there are other people around means you will not quit. As for craving junk food, if you have to have it make a better choice cook a bbq and make your own hamburgers etc...Get your friends to go walking with you or ya fella, your mum anyone, you wont even feel that your burning calories. Hope that helps a little

hun! sounds like u need to have a really big day of just relaxing!! go for a walk, dont think about food , whenever ur not feeling great or if ur really craving another big mac just go for a long walk and think about it.....are u actually hungary? eat really slowly....drink lots and lots of water to cleanse you system. i know...easier said then done but give it a try. all those walks will pay off

soon u will be soo confient u'll think urself beautiful. i have a friend shes not the skinniest of people, nor the prettiest but she is so confident with herself and when she walks into a room she gets 1000 heads turning

That is not to bad. The only way to lose the weight is to stop being depressed, eat healthy(don't overeat) and exercise.
