Just nicely ask when she will be done with them. The longer you wait the more awkward it gets.

I think it's time for you to say, " Hey, what's up with the dvds I loaned you three weeks ago? I know you must really like them, but when will you be done with them?"

This person may have simply forgot about the dvds, but there are certain types of individuals who won't ever return something back unless you put their "feet to the fire." Good luck, and be careful who you loan something to and what you loan them. You certainly have the right to say no, and a true friend will understand.

Here's my plan: The next time she calls and ask what you are doing, tell her you just returned from the store where you had to buy the 32 dollar pack of DVDs because they don't sell singles anymore. And the reason you needed them was to record one of the shows that were on one of the disc's you loaned her was on tonight and you needed to record it!

I don't believe in the walking soft games with friends... If they are truly friends, return things that are borrowed.

You could also send your friend a copy of these answers.

It does not matter if she gives them back to you
but the next time you let her borrow some movies tell her when you want them back.Or If you ask her
wait for about 2 weeks then just go up to her and ask can you get the movies back and she can borrow them another time. But be firm not yelling but a nice firm voice.
That same thing happened to me.

Sit back and relax - these are just TV shows. Most likely your friend has nit watched those as yet. If you really want them back desperately, send an email reminder

I would have asked after a week. She should have had plenty of time. If you feel uncormfortable about asking for them back just bring up the subject by asking he got a chance to watch them or if she enjoyed them.

Ask her if she seen the DVDs and are enjoying them, then ask if she seen them all. If she hasn't give her more time this way she'll know that you haven't forgotten about them. If she has, then ask for them back

it has been long enough for them to have watched. Ask them in a polite voice and in a "By the way" manner if they are done with the because you need them back

It's time to ask her if she is finished with them. If not, tell her you'd like them back in the next 2 weeks.
