I live in a dry state. So when winter gets here, my hair is terribly dry. I have naturally curly hair, so it's prone to being dry anyway. I have a great shower conditioner, but I need a good leave-in conditioner and an intense conditioner for once a week use. I am open to all price ranges, I just need to find some good ones. What can you recomend?

If your on a budget, loreal has a great hair mask for an intensive conditioner, and for a leave-in conditioner try Infusiom 23 has a great one, its lightweight but works really well and you can use it wet or dry, try it with the Moisturizing shampoo and conditioner by Infusium 23 also. But if you wanna splurge try Frederick Ferkia, all of the stuff is amazing, so just ask someone at Saks or Nieman Marcus for help.

Winter is the worst time for hair because the dry air and winds can damage hair. I always have my bad hair days in the winter. I use a leave in conditioner once a month and a moisturizing conditioner regularly. Kerastase has a good leave in conditioner but it is pricey. Pantene has a new winter conditioner that I have heard is ok. I use Frederic Fekkai's moisturizing conditioner, the one with shea butter in it. I only use these products in the winter as they are steep. http://www.latest-hairstyles.com/advice/winter.html is a good read which has some other ways for hair protection in the winter.

I really like Sebastian Potion 9 (a little pricey, but it works well) as a leave-in conditioner. I have very thick/coarse, wavy hair.

A good intense (rinse-out) conditioner is the new L'Oreal Smooth-Intense conditioner. There are three types available, depending on the thickness and type of hair you have. I have the one for thick hair (dark blue labelling.) I think it's meant to be a daily-use conditioner, but I find much too thick/rich for everyday use, so you may be able to use it as a once-a-week intense conditioner.

I have also heard good things about Matrix Biolage Conditioning Balm.

Maybe this will help; If you color your hair there is a conditioner in there that I wish they would sell by itself because it is the best I have ever used ,but Aussie has the all around conditioner, if you really want to splurge when all the other stuff is done I love Paul Mitchell, firm hold style palmaide(in the little round jar). You just put some in your palms rub together and scrunch hair when its all done.

conditioner hints:
towel dry after rinsing shampoo out. apply conditioner. you will use 1/2 and it will work 2 x as well. rinse with cool water.

no matter what conditioner you use - it will work.
