In Judaism everything has a soul, G-d created everything so his divine spark is in everything.

You probably don't care to read this, but there is a school of thought that all things have a soul. Obviously, a plant or rock has a pretty rudimentary soul. Each time these primitive things are destroyed, their "soul" has an opportunity to come back as a more complex organism. Eventually, this evolutionary process leads to the soul becoming an animal, a person, etc. So EVEN YOU have a chance to move on. It just might take a little longer than the rest of us.

for one thing you are not soul free I not only am aware of your soul, but i sense a witness with it.
Do not be so sure that plants do not not have the stuff souls are made of either. While I never could say for certain it is my feeling that there is not only differances in the spirits of certain species of plants but in some such as trees differances (for lack of a better word) differances in personality. Sorcerers have long long known that plants can interfere with ones soul, or Spiritual progress in some areas, that is why they thank a plant b4 they kill it and use it. There are places in scripture that describ a relationship between some plants and God.

Mr. Soul-free atheist: Here's the deal. God is man's worst creation. Religion stinks in a big big way. You already know this, hence the atheism. Now for your question... will you "meet" the plants and all that stuff when you die... the answer is quite simple. Everything, and I mean everything, is made of star stuff. I know this, you know this, the universe knows this. Of course you'll meet them. 2nd Law of Thermodynamics proves it. P.S. - I assume you were raised under some religious belief. Congrats on being able to shake it off.

The soul what exists for eternity. Since plants and animals don't have souls they simply cease to exist in their present form when they die and their bodies decay.....circle of life stuff.... you get the point. Only humans have souls, believeing that you don't have a soul doesn't rid you of yours. In all fairness to your question, either I am right and we all have souls or your are right and none of have souls, but neither of our beliefs make truth just because we believe them.

Your question contradicts itself. You say neither you nor plants have souls, yet you ask where they go whey they die. We know that their physical bodies stay right where they are when they die. So when you ask the question "where to they go when they die," you are already referring to a spiritual body, also known as a soul.

They go to plant heaven. It looks a lot like the garden section at Home Depot.

Some plants land on my dinner plate. I think you're safe from that. Anyone who knows my wife knows that if you give her a plant its on its way to hell, no water, EVER. I hope you'll never see that, you seem to smart. Let's just hope you figure it out - blessings!
