Ok so every morning i wake up and my throat kills! It feels a bit better when i brush my teeth/mouth, swallow/gargal with some chloaseptic, and then use some mouthwash. it gets better as the day goes on, but its been doing this for a while. Any suggestions? It just seems sooo sore in the morning and it really hurts!
Do not say go to the doctor, because i will not, and if thats all u put for an answer i will report u!! not trying to be mean, just trying to get some answers!!
Thanks!

My throat does the same thing and I found out it was because I was snoring and breathing through my mouth. Try those Breath Right strips and see if those help. Alcohol use increases snoring and disrupts the sleeping process, so see if things change when you don't use alcohol.

You can report someone for telling you to go to the doctor when that is the best answer...Now I could add a great joke about your "physcial habits" as to what might be causing your problem, but if it has been going on every morning, you probably are going to need stronger medicine than chloraseptic...

You should get a humidifor. Do you wake up in the morning with post-nasal drip? I would suggest trying to take an anti-histamine type med. Maybe get a 12 hour anti-histamine and take it before you go to bed.

Do your parents smoke in the house? When I lived at home, I woke up with my sinuses and throat aching every morning before going to school.

You're probably breathing with your mouth open while you sleep. I used to get that a lot, then it just stopped happening all on its own.
