There is no single response to your question. The only belief all Jews share is that God is One -- not three.

Generally speaking, there is no emphasis on the afterlife. There is nothing written about it and no one has been there and returned to tell us about it. Our total focus is on our obligations to God and how we live our lives today. Our God is just and we all expect to receive just punishments for our sins -- there is no eternal punishment in Judaism.

Yes, many Jews believe in reincarnation. Yes, many Jews believe in resurrection. "Belief" is a very personal thing in Judaism, but we are judged on our actions, not our beliefs.

Yes we worship God in much the same way Christians worship, but many of our prayers are taken directly from the Bible and recited in Hebrew. When we pray together, nearly all prayers are in praise of God. We seldom ask Him to do something for us other than to heal the sick. We seldom point out the evils of others in our services -- we are there simply to praise our God and to reaffirm that we must strive to do what He wants of us.

I am a Jew. Jews believe in the old testament, just like Christians do. The only difference between Jews and Christians, is that Jews don't believe in the New Testament. There is not really much discussion in the Old Testament about heaven, so there is no definite answer on that, for Jews. We definitely don't believe in reincarnation, that is not mentioned at all. Heaven and Hell were thrown around by Jews as Judaism developed, (like when Jesus was alive), but it was all theory thought up by humans, and not taken from the Old Testament. Haven't you ever thought it was weird that God never mentions heaven or hell in the Old testament, then in the New Testament that is all he talks about. Seems weird to me. Jews worship God in a similar manner, prayers ect. Not much difference there. That being said, I was raised Jewish but don't believe any of the religion stuff is true, i think it is all man made.

Judaism believes in Heaven & Hell. Certain times, people are reincarnated. I'm not sure what your last question means exactly, but Judaism certainly believes that G-d is the creator of the universe, and that He "controls" the world. We pray to G-d to become close to Him, and ask for our needs, but we must always remember that we don't have the perspective of G-d, and just because He doesn't do what we want, that doesn't mean He's not there or can't do anything.

Judaism doesn't really have a conception of heaven or hell beyond you die and meet God. The caballah might add some situations where a person can be reincarnated, but most Jews don't know much about that.

My Rabbi always says...ask 4 rabbis a question and you'll get 5 answers. There are many, many sects of Judaism. They range from people who are ethnically Jewish but not religious to the Hasadim...plus the off shoots including Messianics (that's me).

The vast majority do not believe in reincarnation. Pergatory is Catholic, not Jewish.

Heaven & hell are what the vast majority believe in. We believe in God and tend to worship Him much the same...we have very structured prayers for specific things. We believe in thanking God for many, many wonderful things. We turn to Him in times of trial, we offer blessings in times of praise.

believing in heaven and reincarnation are both acceptable to judaism. jews can believe whatever they want about the afterlife. the closest jewish idea of heaven is "olam ha'ba" ("the world to come", its not very similar to christian ideas of heaven at all) and reincarnation is called "gilgul ha'neshamot" ("transmigration of the soul"). we do not worship G-d in the same way as christians do.

Yes they believe in Heaven, Difference is they don't believe Jesus was who He claimed.

They worship different, alot of cebration feasts and traditions, particularly High Holy Days (Rosh Hashhanh, Yom Kippur, Sukkot, Hannukah, etc) and recognizing Shabbat, the sabbath.

Like Christians, there are those who practive the faith and those who don't.

Actually, Jews do not believe in heaven like Christians do:

Rather, Christians believe in Heaven like Jews do...

-Where do you think Jesus got it from?

They believe in Heaven but not in Hell.
They don't really worry too much about an after life.
They don't believe in Jesus or the NT.
They believe in works and deeds before faith.

And a few other things.

They believe in heaven like Christians do. They believe the whole Old Testament, but not the New Testament, because they dont believe in Jesus as the messiah
