when sending a snail mail letter with multiple senders what is the proper format?

Does it go to the side of the first signature or below it?

When signing, you always sign your own name last if you are the one signing all of the names. For example, if your name was Mary:
Sincerely,
Tom, Emma, Jake, and Mary
If everyone is signing their own names than the order does not matter.
