the day before thanksgiving my bf decided to break up with me.he said it was because he had doubt about a lot of things.he's a freshman in college and i'm a senior in high school. So after he used this "reason" i didn't believe him because i figured that he just wants to play around while he's there and i told him that i didn't want to see him again. later, he told some mutual friends of ours that he didn't trust me but he wanted to talk to me.they also said that they asked how i was doing because he wanted to know. he's even tried to contact me through facebook and even one of his friends, who had a part in the break up tried to request me as a friend through the site. i happily declined. for me, it seems like he wants to be friends to make himself feel better about everything. when we broke up he hinted at getting together again in the future. i told him that i never want to speak to him again. lately, i've wanted to contact but i don't want to be the one who caves. Advice?

thanks for the advice so far. it's just been so stressful because he's telling people that i'm not a truthful person. it's like he's using stuff i did in the past to cover up his mistakes.

Girl, please. Trust me don't even waste your time. Don't call him. I repeat DO NOT CALL HIM. You will appear desperate. Actually you are too young to even be stressing about the situation. You have your whole life to live. Men come and go. Trust me he will want you back. You're headed for college and there are plenty of guys there.

Good luck

OMG...I am going through the same thing as you. I have been going through a break-up since September and he won't leave me alone and let me move on. He wants the milk, but not the cow type situation. Unfortunately he's 36 and still not grown up. It's been incredibly hard to forget him and move on, but I'm trying. If you know in your heart it's not going to work, then it's best to move on.

Honestly, sounds like he's playing games. He's in college, he wants to be free. Been there before. My Ex was in college and I wasn't..... notice I said ex. He wants you as back up. If he dont find something there in college he got you as back up when he needs something. Don't be weak, there are plenty of men out there to focus on one that left you in the first place

Over means over. Enjoy your final year of high school without the drama of this boy and his friends and facebook and his hinting and bla bla bla.

Sounds like he wants to have his cake and eat it too, if your happy with a half hearted realtionship then fine, if you want all or nothing then you should leave him alone.
