Yes it is completly normal... espessially with dogs who have smushed nasal cavities!!! (lol) Boxers, pugs, papillions. Pretty much any dog that humans have messed with genetically.

It is however also caused by the rate in which your dog is inhaling, you might notice that he gets them more after he has eaten a meal! (inhaling food too fast!) same with humans!

Just wait, the best part is yet to come, enjoy the hic-cups, cause next comes the SBD's, and the burping!!! LOL

Yes just like humans dogs every once in a while have hiccups. If it ever seems worse than you think it should though I would check with the vet.

Yes, perfectly normal. I've noticed that my pup, now 6 month's, rarely gets them anymore, but it was a daily occurrence until a months or so ago.

Talk to your Vet if your puppy seems distressed. One of my three had quite a few bouts of hiccups when younger. Never was a problem. The key thing to note is if the puppy is distressed by it.

Don't give the pup alcohol and get him drunk until he's 3 years old... 21 in dog years... ;-)

some newborns hickup alot. My son did. It passes, i think of he exchange into approximately 3 weeks old whilst he stopped. After feeding her lay her on her tummy for the period of your lap and burp her gently. Thst would help somewhat.
