I have not been single sence High School. 8 years to be exact. And I don't even know how to approach a woman. I am SOOO shy. After I get to know someone, I am not shy, but it is the initial meeting that is so hard. I don't drink or smoke, so bars and nightclubs are pretty much out, I guess. What do you think?

Get involved in something you like, take a class at the local college, volunteer for some organization that is near and dear to your heart, go to church, join your church's singles groups, just don't sit at home. If you do things you like and go places where others are, you may be surprised at how much fun you are having and meeting new people puts you in contact with others who may know your future Ms Right. So keep busy, do things, and be someone others find attractive by doing things that are good for others while enjoying yourself. You never know when someone will say "WOW! you are such a nice person, my granddaughter, niece, friend is single and I would like to hook you up" or even better "What a nice caring guy you are, would like to go have coffee with me afterwards?". Trustme, great ways to meet nice people, in setting where you don't have to ast like Don Juan and you can put the word out. "I newly single and looking for a nice girl". Don't worry, people will tell everyone they know about the great new cute guy in class, volunteering at the animal shelter. You'll be swimming in friends and perhaps a new girlfriend soon. Good for you for not smoking or drinking!!!!! I've been single now for 7 years. Try these: The worse that can happen is She'll say no, always ask if they are married. "Accidently" bumping into someone is a great way to open up a conversation. OOPS! Sorry, are you okay? Are you sure? ( then make some comment on what is in their cart i.e. Oh I like that brand too. Only One, I take it you're not married???!!!???) Oh, by the way my name's__________ Nice to meet you. And you are off to the races so to speak. Good Luck!!!!Good Question!
