I will be cooking for 12 people in my extended family who will be at my house. I will have plenty of time in the morning because we don't usually open presents until later.

There are some delicious hash brown casserole recipes out there. Ham and cheese strata is also really good. I guess it's depending on what type of food that your family likes. You can fix scrambled eggs and put them in a crock pot to keep warm. Also, there are breakfast breads like cinnamon rolls that you can put together the night before and pop in the oven the next morning. The biscuits in the freezer case are very good and as close to homemade as you can get. Merry Christmas!

Museli

Ingredients

2 handfuls of porridge oats
8 dried apricots
6 dried dates
A handful of sultanas
12 cashew nuts
1 eating apple
soya milk
plain soya yoghurt
fresh blueberries

This is best prepared the night before.

Chop all of the dried fruit and cashew nuts into small pieces. Mix them together in a dish with the porridge oats.
Pour over soya milk until the mixture is covered. Peel, core and grate the apple and mix into the muesli mixture.

Cover and refrigerate overnight.

The next morning stir the mixture and add a few spoonfuls of plain soya yoghurt and a handful of blueberries.

Well If you don't have a problem cooking meat for other people, I would say for the non vegans, go with traditional bacon, sausage, eggs, hash browns, and toast, and for you and the other vegans, I would make a broccoli and cheese quiche, its very simple, you can go on any website to look at recipes, ooh or spinach cheese quiche, probably your best best would be quiche, because you can make a quiche out of anything. Hope it helped, sorry if it didnt.

Google "breakfast casserole recipes.
There's literally thousands that are simple & delicious!
Most combine eggs with various meat & cheese, some have bread cubes, some have hash browns.

One of my faves, but time consuming is stuffed french toast.
Brown bacon or sausage & set aside to drain. Cut pockets in thick slices of french bread & stuff with bacon or sausage, and some cheese. Dip in beaten egg and fry til brown on both sides.
Kids LOVE this (and so do most adults!)

How about scrambled omelets, which are scrambled eggs with lots of melted cheese and also some chunks of ham. That's usually what my family has with nut roll and eggnog. It's quick, easy, very good, and you could easily make enough for 12 people.

In the superstore, fruits are usually picked out much too soon. Some are rocks, many are bad. Some of the fresh vegetables are right (zucchini, onions, garlic, lettuce, greens, and a few others) so I'd have to go with vegetables.
