you can do one of FEW THINGS. One, guys hate clingy girls, so you could be clingy but depending on your age that might be a little childish and not a good suggestion. :) If you keep attracting these kinds of guys take a serious look at who you are around. Start with the basics. If these people you seem to hang around have the same types of personalities try a new group of people. Be open and honest. RIGHT FROM THE START! Let them know you have your own life and won't get wrapped up in that stuff. Look at the reaction they give you, if he gets a look on his face and says oh I don't like that either and agrees with EVERYTHING you say RUN!!!!!! Don't give your number out right away....wait for a few dates. You will be able to tell if they are going to get clingy. Take things one step at a time. Things go way to fast now a days and I think that the slower you walk into something the better you will be able to see what it is your getting into. And if you haven't gotten to involved and you notice those traits it will be way easier to cut the ties. Good Luck and don't settle for anything less than what you deserve. Don't forget that these guys have feelings too and don't be mean about it. Be nice but blunt. And don't lead them on by accepting calls and hanging out if you have no intentions. But mast of all have fun and enjoy life.

If I understood you wanted to know if guys respected girls that were of "free mind" or to be more precised "sexually active"? If so, I tell you and confirm, men do not respect sexually active women, never did and never will. This is something that is not dependent on our will, it is happening on a subconscious level. The first mistake (often irreparable) woman/girl make is sleeping with a man/boy before married or at least bonded him on soul level. Bonding on soul level requires time, not few days, but intensive effort and communication (verbal and non-verbal even more). If sex come before man and woman bonded on soul and mind level, after a while they deeply inside feel hurt (both of them). Also, women have no respect for men who are running after women just because of sex. They get sex but nothing else except a whole lot of issues and problems that eventually usually lead to divorce or break up, naming, fighting and many other ugly things. So, save yourself and don't worry. You'll earn respect. Believe me on this. Look for the guy who is a man and not just male. This is not easy job, but keep looking, be active about that not about having sex.

Let them know from the beginning that although you enjoy they're company you really like time for yourself as well and if they can't respect that then let them go. Everyone needs they're own space.

Stop being so freakin awsome and they wont gravitate towards you. They just enjoy your company, you know yourself better than they do, can you blame them? They don't feel that pressure they're used to feeling from girls, the pressure to enter a realtionship or commit. Maybe they see you as one of the guys, or maybe they see you as a challenge, or maybe.....just a cool *** friend.

Hang out somewhere new. It sounds like you hang out where "loser" guys hang out. You probably seems like a cool girl that won't judge them, so they like you. I assume that people do judge them poorly based on the fact that they're so clingy. Go different places and be patient with them.

well that is just somthing that all guys have to learn in time when I was in high school I couldn't get away from my gf and as time went on I learned it's ok to give her time away from me

Lie when you say you're going someplace. Say you're going out with your gf's or to a hair salon or girly crap like that.
If they catch you, you can tell them you needed time to yourself.
