That is an excellent question. I heard Nike was paying off the church to insert the line "And jesus walkith over in his Nikes". Last I heard the church was going for it and it will be in the New King James Version. Jesus' sandals must have been good, but Moses' sandals must have been REALLY good. They lasted him 40 years of walking around in the desert.
On a side note, did you know Nike is named after a lessor known Greek god. He was the God of athletics.

Yes middle eastern sandals were made by hand and better than machine made sandals. Jesus wore a oridnary pair of sandals. The trend at the time was in a criss cross lace pattern that was all the rage in Egypt. Jesus just went for the local brand. It could be compared to the shoes your mom used to buy you at the supermarket.
He walked everywhere have you seen his six pack. He was solid.

They were most likely hand-made out of wood/reeds etc. And he probably didn't go everywhere in those sandals. People back then actually walked barefoot everywhere more often that wearing sandals.

The brand was called "Humility and Love".............ever heard of those? They both stand for not putting yourself first, but always thinking of others.
Since you have been studying your Bible looking for 'brand names', maybe you can look up these words also.
God Bless You!

Probably some sandal shop did it. I don't think they had brand companies back then.

Considering they sell 'Biblical' cereal, I would think someone is probably making 'authentic' Jesus sandals somewhere.
