I know it is hurricane season, but nobody can give me a specific temperature range for this period nor tell me if different areas of the Caribbean/Atlantic have a different risk vs. another??? Any thoughts??

I agree with Chey One....very true Aruba has perfect weather, maybe 4 inches of rain a year, it is a desert island (no greenery here) and is outside the hurricane belt, which is a rare place indeed. I have been there and this island is very beautiful in a rugged way.........they also offer wonderful wedding packages, check out the web for info. Temp's are constant all year and do NOT require a sweatshirt or even a light cover up, exception to this is unless you get sunburned, then a light cover-up may be necessary since the breezes, while sunburned can make you feel chilled. Their temp's range at about 85-90 day time and 80 at night, also to remember, that it is VERY humid here all year, so it can feel hotter than the actual temp and that is why the wind of this island is greatly appreciated. Ahh, another tip, if you chose this destination for a wedding, make sure your hair is in a style that can appreciate wind. Good luck!!

I work at a meteorological office and let me first of all tell you that the hurricane season starts on June 01st and ends on November 30th in the Atlanic basin.Because the Caribbean is so close to the equator we are generallly warm throughout the year.expereincing an avg 30 degrees celsius that is 86 degrees farenheit. Some countries are hotter some cooler. And there are many local factors that affect that such as rainfall ,relief, vegetation cover etc etc
All Caribbean countries are affected some way or the other by the hurricane season be it by storm surges, cloudiness, drop in pressure increase and change in wind speed etc. What happens is that some countries are more vulnerable or get hit more frequently by hurricanes than others beacuse of ther location. The eastern and northern caribbean islands get more frequently hit because hurricanes tend to form off the west african coast and travel in a general westerly to northwesterly direction.Nonetheless, that does not mean that countries such as Aruba are 100% safe because they are out of the so called "hurricane belt" in recent times hurricanes have been behaving quite unpredictable.Trust me!The Southerly Countries are less at risk than the eastern and Northern but that DOES NOT MEAN that they wont get hit by a hurricane nor get affected the chances just are slimmer.
What kind of honeymoon are you looking for by the way?The boring sun sand and sea vacation or the nature/ecotourist kind?
If you are looking for the nature/ecotourist kind where you have the choice of waking in your absolutely private villa nestled in a mountain top or valley or river or lake in the rainforest then the island of Dominica (NOT the dominican republic) is the ideal place .The island of Dominica is a very prestine untarnished isladn with lot sof activities besdies hiking such as snorkeling whale watching horseback riding etc ect u can check out the isladn of Dominica on these websites below

I don't know about all of them - BUT - I can tell you that in Aruba the temp is the same year round. Very warm. In fact - they tout the fact that weather reports are never given on the radio / tv nor are the published in the newspaper because they never change! Interesting isn't it.

Now - I can tell you where to get the answer to your question. Vacationstogo.com - if you will select a cruise port of call - St. Thomas for example - there is a link that gives the weather temp averages for every month.

You'll find all you need there.

Congrats on the upcoming wedding. Enjoy your trip!

like the previous posters suggested, i'd not be too worried. Hurricanes can ensue for sure, yet to get one hitting your island, fantastically on the very starting up of the season, should be very rotten success certainly. i comprehend i'm jinxing you, notwithstanding it ain't gunna ensue. also, any typhoon hitting Bermuda ought to likely be extra-tropical on the instantaneous of 12 months because the water is less warm that a strategies north. you receives rain though. The showers will come, very last 10 or quarter-hour, possibly a million/2 hour, then bypass and the skies will sparkling. Then they could come back. The island climate is ever-replacing. do not enable it provide up you though, that's eye-catching down there. it is going to likely be warm, notwithstanding the wind will be blowing, the rum will be flowing and Florida is even hotter.
