My computer is having trouble playing mpegs. It plays the audio well but it only plays two seconds of video before freezing. I've tried installing DIVX player and re-installing Window Media player but it didn't work. Anyone have any ideas?

Looks like you don't have the proper CODECs installed.
Better to install something like KLITE CODEC PACK which is free and then you will be able to play almost anything.

Best of luck.
