This might just mean that your ex-boyfriend has been "over" you for a while now. Did he initiate the breaking up? Is the reason you broke up with him because he was not serious anymore or didn't show you any affection, if yes, those are sure tell signs that the guy lost interest in the relationship you had with him. Most people feel something after a break-up.
Now the lady in question. Do you know if she's a maneater? Does she string men around her little finger just like that? Are her advances tough to stand against? Your guy might have been feelnig vulnerable and sad and thus took her offer as a chance to repress his grief.

That guy sounds like an azzhole. I'm a guy, and I would question if he was cheating on you in the past. That is way too soon if he had anything emotionally invested in the relationship. Take heart, not all guys are like that, you deserve better. Think of this as something you had to go through to meet the person you'll eventually spend the rest of your life with.

He probably checked out of your relationship a long time ago so he doesn't need time to heal... I'm not trying to be mean by the way.
I can tell you if he didn't know her before she is definitely not someone he is going to jump into a serious relationship with now that he is out of yours, but if he did know her before than she may be the reason he broke up with you. If you don't know if they had ever met then I guess you'll have to see what develops. Hope that helps... take care

He could be serious if he extracted himself from your relationship a long time ago and has been thinking about moving on for a while. If that's the case, you were the back-up plan the whole time he was distanced.
But if he's telling you about girls he's thinking about dating, the two of you will probably get back together.

Which one of you decided to call it a day ..the one who
made the decision to move on ..is probably not that much
bothered ending the relationship..some would say could even be glad that it ended..you can assume other things may have been going on behind your back..if he was the one to finish..
But if you kicked him out ..he would grab the first gal
that's comes along .,just to show you whatever ..good luck

People have different ways of dealing with things.
With experience you'll learn to let go much quicker too.
This time it might take you a year.
New guy it'll be 2 months.
Guy after that 1 week.
And by the next guy you'll be done to 1.5 days as well.
Let him go, you don't need to be with anyone who doesn't want to be with you.

If you're broken up, the best thing to do is move on and not worry about anything pertaining your ex's flings. Its definitely insensitive to a certain extent, but it really depends on the reason you broke up. My guess is you wanted a long term commitment or marriage and he probably wasn't ready to grow up yet.
