If you have 20 years experience, you should have 20 years worth of contacts built up. Everything from commercial to resort.
It doesn't sound like either. You should be a member of one of a slew of professional diving organizations by now and almost all of them have job boards. It would also be helpful if you mentioned what sort of Instructor you are. PADI ? NAUI? SSI? IANTD?TDI? and on and on. If you posted back under additional details I might be able to help you.
Additionally, diving supervisors are NOT what resorts are looking for. Multi language DM's and Instructors yes, supers, nope. Oil rig time.

i'm particularly particular very almost everywhere won't hire you until you're a minimum of sixteen. Many places desire 18 12 months olds, additionally. Legally, you may no longer and not using a artwork enable. And yet, once you look on the records of unemployed toddlers finding for a activity, there are various. And what employer could choose a 14 12 months previous over a 17 12 months previous? no longer many. attempt doing chores around the domicile for money. Or cut back your acquaintances backyard.

I agree with Bob, again. If youve been doing this that long you should have ins with people. I have been doing this for about 8 years, staying with my local shop as a divemaster, but I've had offers from all over the Carribean in places I've only heard about, but if you're good people know it. I've had friends go on trip and heard that liveaboards or shops are in need of people and then out of the blue I am contacted by these shops because my friends have made contacts for me without my knowing. Kinda nice.
