Interesting but contrary to Scripture. I understand the problem you're considering and offer this as a possible solution...
Adam and Eve were perfect and it took several generations before the degenerating gene pool became severe enough to forbid incest.

Eve, being as the Bible says, is the mother of all living (people). The DNA was so perfect, it was no problem with their children being married and relatives being married. Even down to Abraham and Sarah, they were half brother/sister. The purity of the DNA in early ages allowed for the descendants to be mentally capable of survival. The same is true for Noah and his family, after the flood. Humanity started over and once again relatives married. It was not a sin to do that at the time. Different races came from people having different kinds of lives in different areas of the world. The surroundings caused the survival of different looks in people. The stayed together and intermarried until they began to look and behave more alike than ones they did not know. Franklin D. Roosevelt and Eleanora were related. Most of their children were alright mentally. There are others in these times that marry relatives and have normal children. It is not wrong to marry family in much of the world today. What so many people do not understand is that Adam and Eve's age was from the time they left the Garden of Eden, not from their creation. They may have been in the garden a few million years. At least it was long enough a time that another country was settled before Cain went there to get his wife. We know there was childbirth before the fall because God multiplied the pains of childbearing for Eve. You cannot multiply what has not been. You can only add that. We have no idea how many children Adam and Eve had nor where they were when the children were born. We only know they had many that were not mentioned in the Bible.

Nope. You got it wrong.
When Adam and Eve were created, they were genetically pure. There was no sin and their DNA had not undergone any mutation. So sexual relations between brothers and sisters was okay. It is the only way that mankind could have increased.
In His word, God gave us NAMES, Adam, Eve, Cain, Able. etc. Take it like it's written and don't try to make the bible fit into your understanding of the world. Instead, you should make your understanding of the world fit into the bible.
Anyway, It was later, in the book of Deuteronomy that God introduced rules about sexual relations between close relations. This is after a few thousand years of genetic degradation through mutation and God introduced these rules for health reasons. And today, in most places, sexual relations are limited to relatives at least as distance as 1st cousins.

Until God gave Moses the law incest was acceptable for populating the Earth.
Also, Adam and Eve had many descendants but after the flood the world was cut down to only 6 specific ancestors: Noah's three sons and their wives.
As a note, incest does not have to lead to degrading genes, it simply has a tendency to in modern society because the gene pool among specific ethnicity has been reduced so much and poor genes exist within the ethnicities. Such as multiple sclerosis, cerebral palsy, down syndrome, etc. These things are more likely in children of incest relationships today because they are more common in people generally today.
A leading cause for problems is due to the reduction in the infant and child mortality rate due to such children living longer due to modern medicinal practices. People who have a genetic disorder or are a carrier for one should not have kids except through adoption.

In the beginning, humans were perfect, without genetic disorders, that could result in mutations.
Eve was basically a clone of Adam, minus the Y Chromosome. Because of the lack of genetic diversity, their children would have been almost clones of them. Only as time passes and other factors, such as diet, affected the genetic structure, did it become necessary for restrictions to be put into place as regards marrying ones own sister. That may change, after Armageddon, when humans are once again perfect. Our aversion to what is now called incest is a learned trait, not a natural one. A needed learned trait based on the current condition of humans.

I believe that with Adam and Eve you didn't have the possibility of degrading genes yet. It would have taken several generations before you saw any problems. Once the degrading of the genes started to appear, then it was forbidden.
