the bodies laying on the floor are fishes and the cat tried to gobble them up therefore hitting the fish tank and the water spilled, the glass broke so the fish died bcos their was no water for them

The dumb cat jumped and pushed the fish tank over and the glass broke on the floor. After the water splashed out of the tank everywhere, so does the fish too. By the time anyone found the mess, the cat already licked himself dry. Purrfect crime.
