I have seen their contract, I was just wondering how the 7 day work vs the 5 day work week and who decides which one your on. I will have to take a pay cut I am just trying to figure how much I would earn weekly on average?

It depends on which department.

In the operating department pay scales are the result of collective bargaining, with trainmen and enginemen represented by the BLET, or , Brotherhood of Locomotive Engineers and Trainmen.

You can contact them on line. Once there a definitive answer to this question will be found, as other sources tend to generalize. Since you mentioned a specific carrier you can get the rates for the various classes of service within the operating department.

In the operating department, there are very few 5 day work weeks, and of those that there are, it is dependent upon seniority as to who works them. I wouldn't count on holding one for a while.

Seniority and location is the name of the game.

Good luck.
