Beacuse you are messing with deep seated beliefs indoctrinated into the masses over centuries. Trying to change the effects of brain washing is never easy!

However, I believe Jesus DID exist and walk upon the Earth. The point is that he was a spiritually advanced prophet, preacher and healer. It was due to his "Miracles" that people elevated him to "Godly" status, he never claimed that for himself. (He stated he was the "Son of God"). That is where the difficulties arise.

Because you are talking about their God silly. Why do you tell people that you think their God is made up? Are you looking for a punch in the nose. Or do you only say it on here where no one can get to you, coward? I believe Jesus existed. It's God that I believe was made up. But I don't say it to any ones face. I just say I'm an Atheist if anyone asks and leave it at that. Except on here where I can rave like they do. It's better to be a coward than to take a poke in the lip. Kisses Betty.

Lilith I read your Evil Bible and I am still a Christian Atheist. It is my guess that every Christian in this room could read it and still not be a twit convinced that Jesus was not their God. sorry the warning wasn't necessary. Kisses Betty.

Because there is real FACTUAL proof that Jesus existed...and even if he didn't i would want him to exist! Because he is a wonderful being!

He's not just in the Bible:

Tacitus 55-117AD
Suetonius (70-130AD)
Pliny the Younger (62-113)
Josephus (37-101)

These four wrote about Jesus...and they weren't christians...some even presuecated Christians..but they wrote in some document or some letter about Jesus...There is complete historical evidence that no one can rightfully deny

Jesus actually did exist and not just in the Bible. There are Roman documents about crucifixions that include Jesus. So you are wrong to say He never existed. Maybe if you were to say you don't believe Him to be the Son of God, then people could respect your opinion.

This is what happens when you skip History class. Jesus did exisit, thats really never been the debate. Your in a class of probably 2% of the planet. Even 99% of all athiest believe he Existed. Its up to you to believe wether he was Telling the Truth, Telling Lies, or was CRAZY!

It's very similar (however to the opposite extreme) to saying that the Holocaust never happened. Many people define their lives by Jesus and it's fine if you don't but there is substantial evidence that he existed period (of course, not that he did everything he did, but that he merely existed). Are you sure you're not just seeking attention?

I don't think Jesus was made up, just misunderstood by so many (even his own disciples).

But it doesn't make me mad if you think he was made up : )
No, it's not such a really big deal.

It may not be a big deal for you, but a big deal to the people who believes and has experienced Jesus presence in their daily lives.

Jesus did exist-there are too many records of him to not accept this. It is just that he was just a man, a teacher, a prophet, and not G-d. This is what makes Christians angry. But, G-d is One. Jesus is not G-d.

because people are xtremly closed minded. americans are afriad of what they dont understand and when you say that you dont beleive in their savior then they believe that you worship the devil although that may not be the case.all i have to say is dont worry about them go with what you do believe in .

from a confused believer of christ. im not christian because those who say they are usally arent, in the bible it says not to judge and that is exactly what they are doing when they sit there and get mad or upset because you say that you dont believe in god .that dosent mean that you dont beleive in good and bad
