I have long thick butternut colored hair, It has like spiral waves. when I wash it I use herbal escence drama clean shampoo and then I rinse it out and wash it again with none of your frizzness shampoo and then I rinse it again and use the dangerously straight conditioner. I wash it like this everyday.
When I use my straightener and straighten it out it stays nice for a couple hours and then at the top it gets all frizzy. I used the herbal escence dangerously straight spray with the flat iron and sprayed the roots and top with the John Freida hair wax spray for dark blondes.
What can I use to make it not frizz all day (at least 7 hours)? and what other product(s) should I use with the flat iron? Help!!

Addtiotional details: I have to wash it everyday to wash out all the sprays and products I use so it doesn't get greasy and disgusting. Occasionally I don't use anything and then I will skip and night of washing it. I blow dry it about 2 times a week and try not to use the hair iron everyday (even though I'm addicted to it!)

To really take care of your hair well you must use the proper hair styling aids. I highly recommend that you switch to the Tony&Guy line of products which are highly desirable and effective in cases such as yours. Find your nearest Tigi retailer on line and get the Bed head shampoo, conditioner, and serum which are the complete treatment for your type of hair. Also, lay off the flat iron for a few days and go easy on the blow dryer (use a diffuser with it). I would also recommend that you go see a reputable styling at a "good" salon who can recommend what you need.
Good luck.

Try not to wash your hair everyday. Try everyother or every 2 days. Just when you get in the shower the days you are not washing it, wet it still and moisturize. that's what i do (i have long thick curly hair)...it works for me

stop washing ur hair that much!!! because you are doing that u are stripping ur hair of its natural oils. just straighten ur hair and after its as smooth as you like put hairspray or gel to keep it from frizzing too soon.
