When I was 17 I started having these weird allergies. I didn't have allergies then either my throat, face, lips or around my eyes would swell, or I would just have a big lump on my head and I wouldn't know it was there. Most of the time is was a combination of hives and something else. After experiencing this for two years it stopped. When I turned 29 these allergies came back. It's been three years and it's getting worse. Not only do I have these allergies I found that no matter how many time I bring my red blood cells back up to normal I'm always anemic. One time my anemia count was down to almost blood transfusion time. I'm scared to go get it check now because I don't want to be disappointed all over again. I can't live off of Iron and allergy pills and epipen for the rest of my life. On the internet it says these type of allergies run in the family but my parents don't have this problem.

Smurf's right: Stress can ultimately weaken the body's immune system. During times when I was under a lot of stress, I was sick a LOT. Keep in mind to that characteristics in families can sometimes skip a generation or two.

Now, you're not saying what you're allergic to. So take what I say next with a dose of caution.

You might want to try cutting preservatives and refined sugars, and similar substances out of your diet. Along with excess chemicals. Try to get organic foods when you can: It could be that you are more sensitive than most to such things.

And I know this is scary to you, but try working with your doctor about a lifestyle change so you can become healthier.

Good luck.

I've suffered this since 2000 and have yet to find a doc who wants to get to the bottom of it. Luckily, for me, they've become a lot less frequent. One possible cause is dehydration. If you are not getting enough water this can happen. You may have an ear infection, inner ear infection. It is possible to have an infection and not have pain in your ear. Are you having any problems with sinuses? Sinus issues can cause dizziness. Have you had your eyes checked lately? Sometimes if your eyes have trouble adjusting you will get dizzy. It could be the lighting condition you spend most of your time in. There are a number of things it could be. If it continues I'd go see a doctor. I was put on meclazine for those times that I have serious spells. It balances the inner ear. Meclazine works really well for dizzy spells but causes drowsiness. I haven't had to take a pill in years though. Good luck to you.

Yes, stress can induce a myriad of different symptoms in different people. No two people alike respond to stress the same and it can affect people to the point of causing physical problems such as loss of appetite, blood pressure, miscarriage, irregular menstrual cycle, etc.
